Re: [Online Help] Assistance with translating the Online Help Files
There are four new pophelp links for the new desription fields for articles, sections, categories and links1 and neither of these mention how to bring the texts entered there into the page source. I couldn’t tell either.
Can somebody shed a little light on this, please?
Edit #2: OK, I found tags for links and files (never used/forgotten).
Remains tags for articles, sections, categories.
Edit #3: Found a meta_description
tag at textpattern.io. I’ll yet have to understand how that one will work in order to write about it, but … yeah.
Edit: Somebody might want to write additional info into the pophelp files. It’s needed in
article/description.textile
link/link_description.textile
category/category_description.textile
section/section_description.textile
1 There’s no pophelp link available for description on Files, BTW, and no pophelp file exists, either.

Re: [Online Help] Assistance with translating the Online Help Files
Small correction for the en-en version:
The sub list of the ordered list’s HTML example textfilter/textile/list-numerical.textile
must be wrapped in ol
tags.

Re: [Online Help] Assistance with translating the Online Help Files
I’ve translated/overhauled/aligned around 100 of the ~ 120 German help files. What’s left is mostly Textile help. During the next 8 weeks I’ll have very little time to spend for the project, though. And IIRC you wanted to publish overhauled help files for the 4.6 final release. I’ll see what I can do but we’ll probably have to start with still some English texts for Textile, at least where help items were added in 4.6.
Give me a shout when you need the file pile.

Re: [Online Help] Assistance with translating the Online Help Files
Hi Uli, please upload all you have so far to GitHub, or email them to me, whichever is easier. Since the help resides on RPC it’s not critical to be ready on release day (although that would be nice).

Re: [Online Help] Assistance with translating the Online Help Files
Phil, you’ve recently uploaded translation requests for online help files. I’ve already done these locally some months ago. (In Textile, though, the Crowdin request is HTML. Is that a problem?). Can you remove those translation requests for German from Crowdin, please, so no one starts the comprehensive work?

Re: [Online Help] Assistance with translating the Online Help Files
Hi Uli,
Yes, I am going to upload all the inline help files to Crowdin eventually. If you have translated the German files then please either make a pull request on the Pophelp repo or send them to me directly, and I’ll mirror those on Crowdin.
Thanks!

Hi,
I’m seeing the help files in Crowdin coming but I’m missing the allready translated strings. Will the existing nl-nl translations imported to crowdin from the rpc server or do they reside somewhere on Github?
