Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] rss_suparchive - article archive list

Well, that didn’t take long…

In order to download the plugin in uncompressed form, just add compress to the query string. For example:

http://www.wilshireone.com/txp/downloads/rss_suparchive-0.18.php?compress=no

That worked perfectly. Thank you so much for taking your time to address this and keep up the awesome work.

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] rss_suparchive - article archive list

Hi @ all,

I use txp 4.0.3 and rss_suparchive0.18.

The article list is ok, but when I click on an articlelink, it happens nothing. The article id is correct in the adress field, but no article will be displayed. I get back to the archive site.

I don’t know where my mistake is. Can somebody give me a hint or can help me to solve this problem?

Problem with archive

if somebody want to look at my problem.

Thank You

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] rss_suparchive - article archive list

I’m here again :) with another suggestion… Could you do something like this:

txp:rss_suparchive section=”!first-sec,!sec-sec,!third-sec” category=”!index” …

So I need to display all section except three and more I don’t want to display articles with category “index”…

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] rss_suparchive - article archive list

Hi,

I’m using this lovely plug-in in conjunction with rss_posted, and was wondering if there was a way exclude (well, not have to include) the <txp:rss_suparchive /> tag in the archive template unless the url contained a date?

If not, could a conditional tag possibly be thrown in to solve this? Something along the lines of:

——

<txp:if_rss_suparchive_if_filteredbydate>

<txp:rss_suparchive />

</txp:rss_suparchive_if_filteredbydate>

——

My apologies if this has been asked before.

Egor

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] rss_suparchive - article archive list

I was wondering if there is a way to use rss_suparchive to get the month and year as the links, but not include the year in the link text, but rather have the months grouped by the year they are in?

I’m seeking an output which could be styled to look like this:
2006
Jan | Feb | Mar | Apr | May | Jun | Jul | Aug

2005
Jan | Feb | Mar | Apr | May | Jun | Jul | Aug | Sep | Oct | Nov | Dec

If so, what would the tag look like? If not, are you aware of another way I could achieve this?

Many thanks – keep up the great work, Rob!

And what about localised dates? That’d be awesome ;)

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] rss_suparchive - article archive list

danboe,

Here’s a form:

---

<txp:if_different><h3><txp:posted format="%Y" /></h3></txp:if_different>
<txp:if_different><txp:rss_posted dateformat="" yearformat="" sep1="" sep2="" linktosection="whatever" /> | </txp:if_different>

---

Ideally, that should be a <dl>, but there’s the basic idea.

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] rss_suparchive - article archive list

I’ve been using this to make an event list, which has worked beautifully. Just two questions: first, is it possible to get the title rather than the name of a section, like you’ve done with the categories?

Also, I’m using subdateformat=”%I:%M %p”, which I would expect would return something like “6:00 p.m.” However, it writes “06:00 “ instead. I’m guessing that this has something to do with how the date formats are set on my server, but I haven’t been able to figure out how to change that.

Many thanks!

I figured that was why they weren’t coming up properly. I really haven’t been able to figure out how to change my locale, though (or even if it’s a Textpattern or PHP thing). Would you be able to post (or direct to) instructions on how to change this, if/when you have a chance?

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] rss_suparchive - article archive list

hey,

I am using this plugin but <code>useartcat1</code> wont work.
It displays nothing when I use it.
I use it in this txp code line <code><txp:rss_suparchive_bycat showdate=“0” section=“artists,genres” limit=“5” /></code>
But this displays every article that is tagged with something from catergory1 and category2.

I just want to show articles that are related with a category in category 1. (or category 2)
Can I do that? That would be awesome.

Still searching and editing code but stil no solution.
Anyone a hint?
