wow! thanks. if they can actually do .COM . CA and .IT TLDs i’am in …. .it is a real pain as i have to use an expensive italian based service which charge >50EU

Yes its a bad idea to have both services combined. I use Gandi for registrations and WebFaction for hosting right now, having had a brief stint with DigitalOcean, which while a very good service, requires one to maintain one’s own server.

I have always felt the same way. My Dreamhost account is almost a decade old but I would never register a domain there.
