Re: Back up dbs in txd
Hi Yiannis.
I have v1.0.2 here – what version are you on? Regarding table selection, if you select one of more tables, the export action will only chew through those selected – having nothing selected assumes (I think) all tables should be exported. It’s been a long time since I installed it, so I may have tweaked some settings. Did you get your database exported OK?

I have the same version on OSX.8.x but nothing happens when I click on the button when nothing is selected. The db exported just fine and I also like the .zip option which is now not supported in txd.

Re: Back up dbs in txd
Me clicking the button on the bottom left was to refresh the view before I export – force of habit, I think. That was nothing to do with the export as such, it’s just a pre-flight check I do to make sure it’s all in order. The export, whether things are selected or not, is done by the File -> Export or keyboard shortcut, not that button. Mea culpa.

You can actually export using the button to the left of the refresh one, once you select the table(s).

Oh yes, that button will let you do an export if you have tables selected. The File -> Export will let you export when nothing is selected, as will the keyboard shortcut. I sort of forgot about the drop down button as there was that anomaly. This is also another reason why, in some years, my left hand will be a knurled hook from all the darn keyboard shortcuts I use. Sigh.
