not the first time I’ve said it… but this plugin is a doozy and it’d be great if it was folded into TXP… the most elegant solution to having photo gallery display built into the publishing tool…
user adds a string of photo ID numbers to the article image field when creating a new article (in preferred sort order), and it’s displayed using the article image tag (perhaps limit=“1” and a couple of new image navigation tags to approximate jmr_image_gallery behaviour).
I’d be happy to throw some dollars or other incentivation to a programmer implementing this as a plugin (I’m thinking Zem is well-placed but perhaps has other priorities right now)…
which could maybe later make its way into txp 1.5 or whatever
(the same thing for files would be great too)

Nardo’s suggestion sounds like something that could be built on Zem’s existing image plugin, which accepts a list of image IDs. You’re right – why not combine the article association method of this plugin (the image category) with the list of image ids? It would be pretty slick.

hello, I’m trying to use this plugin… but I really can’t!
in the first place, using section/id/title for the url, it outputs something wrong for the image src:

the src link is relative and it just doesn’t paste the images from inside a section/id/title url.
then, a couple of lines later it pastes this: <code><a id=“previmage” href=”/index.php?imagenum=2”>« Previous image</a></code> which bounces me back to the index…
what can I do?!

Hi Rob and y’all,
thanks for this plug-in, looks awesome.
For me the showing the pic as I hover on the thumbs is the stuff I always wanted.
Unfortunately, I couldn’t download it. Looks like there is some problem with the download [tried fox and ie6]. Any idea? Any other place I can download it from?
