Copy from the wordpress model, not software itself. Themes are a proble with textpattern and the general public, but the type of people that use txp a lot probably don’t use themes. So i don’t know.
its a bad hen that wont scratch itself.

Recently I bought THE book and find it is very good. Some tags are missing, but that is easily found in the ‘official’ docs.
I’m curious what do you miss in the ‘old’ book?

Don’t get me wrong. the old book is good. But it’s not an advanced book. Its introductory and serves a purpose. A new more advanced book that shows how to build more the blog type of sites would be good. More case studies with some of the advanced use of tags.

You must be kidding, right?
It has use case with multiuser blog site and even covers writing plugins.
The only thing missing is diving into core’s source. :-)
