Re: txp 4.4.1 stuck on language preference page after upgrade
If you go to phpmyadmin, you will see on the left side the list of all tables in the database for textpattern. You should click on the txp_prefs and then scroll through several screens (in my case it was few) to find the line with the version number. Edit this line/number and that’s it.

Don’t simply do so, the update can remain incomplete. That’s why I edited my first post in this topic. (Thanks for bringing up this issue again!)
In bad weather I never leave home without wet_plugout, smd_where_used and adi_form_links
