Re: my first edition AD&D site
I have uploaded several new maps. I decided to make the new maps using some new styles as provided in Profantasy’s Annual issues.

Re: my first edition AD&D site
Besides adding in 9-10 of each generic item: atolls, castles, cities, towns, and villages; I have added more surface maps in new styles. Some of the generic items were done in CC2 years ago, and some are done in CC3 in the past 30 days,

Updated/changed more maps. Some of my earlier ideas on hemisphere maps are gone and replaced by new ones.

Re: my first edition AD&D site
I decided to take down the over one thousand surface maps, as they are now out dated.

There were some DNS issues after new faster servers were installed. That has cleared up, and I have uploaded a number of new maps.

I have removed all Google AdSense ads from all of my sites. Their 2-step process failed to help me remember my password, so I no longer use ads.

Re: my first edition AD&D site
changes at my web host… so I may or may not have any sites there some time, sooner or later. I’ve checked into other web hosts, but I’ll be waiting and seeing. I was getting some free stuff, but the owner changed.
So, if you are using my maps, etc. get them while you can.

Re: my first edition AD&D site
Changes went okay. I am slowly making progress on coming up with my own version of B4 The Lost City. Some area and portal/Gate maps posted there. Updating old CC2 maps to CC3 and CC3 Plus maps. Over 95% of the old maps are gone from this site. Added 5 generic villages.

Re: my first edition AD&D site
While I have made a few maps for Crest of a Star, I’ve also added some sub-sites. Corrected the links to the new Sub-domains on Aug 1, 2018. Urls corrected: 2023, Dec, 9.
The Mazes site also has the Norse/Viking rules on separate maps.

Re: my first edition AD&D site
I don’t see any mention, just ‘new maps’, but I did away with the 180 × 234 mile small maps. Making hemishere maps out of that was too much for my old brain.
So I too the Northern Hemisphere, and made samller maps from it.
Made one large Southern Hemisphere map and I am making smaller maps from it.
Hiopefully these larger hemiphere maps makes it easier to navigate around Crestar and see The Big Picture.

Re: my first edition AD&D site
Site is completely changed in that I used Fractal Terrains 3, a stand-alone program, to make two rectangular maps as Northern and Southern Hemispheres. New maps galore.
Basically, this time I started at hemisphere level of mapping, and then go to region, the nation maps. Still some older maps there, but after I fix my Traveller site, I’ll be updating with effects the maps for this site.
In case you don’t know, effects would be wall shadows, sun direction, text with a glow around it so it is easier to read against a background, etc.

Dwarf Home sub-domains are gone. I moved new maps of Dwarf Home over to this site. I slowly add more maps.

Long time no post. Anyway, I’ve changed web hosts to namecheap. Not all of my articles have been moved over. No navigation menus there yet.
