Re: dds Textpattern Admin Themes

@speeke – Yeah, you’re not the first one to bring up this mis-alignment. Do you have any plugins that might off set those tabs? rah_textile_bar? Also, thank you for your support

Re: dds Textpattern Admin Themes

@nemoorange, I disabled all plugins, and still had the same problem. My TxP install is virtually a vanilla of 4.0.8. I’m using FF 3.0.8 on Mac OSX 10.5.6.

I also came across another problem: Presentation > Sections. When I save a change to the About section for example, the words: “Section About updated.” are mis-aligned in the top left of the browser window, just under the TxP logo.

Re: dds Textpattern Admin Themes

Thank you speeke and candyman for pointing out the misalignment. I’ve fixed the text/preview/html tab issue for all the styles.

I’ll have to take another look at the status messages.

Re: dds Textpattern Admin Themes

Digging the “Halloween” theme! I think of this as just another great “dark” theme. I like it even better than the very nice “simplexdark” theme, I just have a better sense of contrast between all the different interface elements. Thanks again Dave!

Re: dds Textpattern Admin Themes

wOw!

Thanks SO much for this @nemoorange. I’ve been waiting to make presentational mods to the admin side and stumbled across your plugin and themes. LOVE the elegance (image as data, ability to mod the ‘TEXTPATTERN’ via CSS).

Respect and thanks!

Re: dds Textpattern Admin Themes

Has some user of a dds_admin_theme upgraded to 4.2.0? Any issue?

Re: dds Textpattern Admin Themes

@candyman I have not gotten around to testing the plugin for 4.2.0. However, Stu has made most of my themes available for 4.2.0 downloadable: http://textgarden.org/layouts/?c=txp-admin.

Are they the original ones or are they been modified by Stu? Anyone knows?

Re: dds Textpattern Admin Themes

I can’t load/use my previous textpattern.css :( I’ve put it in its own folder inside the textpattern/theme one.
What’s the php code that I should write to load&choose it in the admin preferences menu?

Re: dds Textpattern Admin Themes

Stu has made no changes to any of the admin themes on Textgarden other than to add the appropriate php file and package them up into their own folder as per the new method introduced in 4.0.2 for admin themes.

This naturally does not apply to Stu’s own admin themes which he messes about with constantly even if he doesn’t upload the revisions and keeps them all to himself. :-)

You should have a look at one of the php files included in the downloads to see what you need for your own theme. For the most part the php file is the same for the themes on Textgarden except for those themes where the top navigation is re-written in a ul / li construction, as opposed to the table used in “Classic”. This applies to all my own themes including “Classic 2” so don’t look at any of my php files.

Also check the information block at the bottom of the php file as this contains information specific to the theme it comes with.

Re: dds Textpattern Admin Themes

Many thanks, Stuart!
Following your infos I’ve managed to get my old custom dds’s admin theme running on 4.2.0 :)

(except for the three labels beside the write area but I imagine is a small problem)
