Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] ebl_image_edit v1.0

May I add a feature request: Couldn’t it take fine pictures too? I have not enough time to do it myself :)
We could give it some keywords=”“ and a deadline=”“ as attributes …
Surely no problem for Eric to solve the programming :)

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] ebl_image_edit v1.0

Stupid me! Forget the request.
It surely wouldn’t allow any cropping any longer

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] ebl_image_edit v1.0

Hey Eric!

1.
If there is a way to add a ‘Brightness/Contrast’ function it can be a nice add to your plugin!
here is one that I found, but it doesn’t work in IE http://www.pixastic.com/lib/docs/actions/brightness/
If you find one that work with IE it will be really cool =)

2.
and to my older request if you missed it (if not so sorry for repeating):
when I choose a custom size from the list in the Thumbnail tab,
the selection is changing to that size, but the Thumbnail Dimensions: are not.
and if I choose a custom size of 400×300, it will resize it to 100×100 proportionally
and that is not good for me, because I want 400×300 and I did mark the Resize Thumbnail & Lock Aspect Ratio checkboxes.
so I think what you need to do Eric is if the checkbox of Resize Thumbnail is allready marked or if it is not and then I mark it,
then the Thumbnail Dimensions: will be automatically change to the custom size I choosen from the list
with no need to type the numbers again.
(I have no problem to type the numbers again, but the clients are getting lost there)

3.
Is it possible to fix that it will work in IE8 please?
(without the need to change to “Compatibility View”)

1. If there’s enough interest, possibly.

2. I’ll look into it.

3. Probably. I’m swamped with projects, so I can’t give you exact ETC.

rewrite coming soon for IE8 compatibility and to squelch a few bugs. I may add additional filter type functionality after the coming update, but there needs to be sufficient interest to do that.

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] ebl_image_edit v1.0

cool thanks!
if it’s a lot of work to make it work in IE8 so you can just insert the next meta tag:
<meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=8" />
and it will change the page to be in a compatibility mode.
=)

A new filter type would be great. Particularly if it could work like Picasa “I’m feeling lucky” button that makes users average photos a lot better but setting auto brightness/contrast. I’m sure i’ve seen this done in JS.

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] ebl_image_edit v1.0

Really love this plugin, very useful.
I have one suggestion to make, could there be a way of defining presets for resize (in the same way you have done for crop)?
Thanks,
Phil
