Help please with export from blogger – has anyone done it lately? The orignal textbook description with ftp settings and storage in textpattern/include/import with import.txt is not valid today.

if you read carefully through this thread you’ll see what I had to do to make it work – set the blogger account back to the old style templates and it should work

Thank you James, but the “old style template” is not my problem. My problem is that there is no way to export via ftp as described. The only way to output my postings is via a DNS-NameServer Change (what ever this is). Blogger.com does not provide a ftp output.

I just did this again and I had the same problem as the blog I was getting the posts off was using an alternative domain (not hosted by blogger).
The way I got the posts out was a simple ‘view source’ once the blog was set up with the correct formatting as per the above instructions. All worked fine.
