On debian, I have:
127.0.0.1 localhost
::1 ip6-localhost ip6-loopbackDoes that work on Windows?

And perhaps another way to work around this: in TXP use “127.0.0.1” instead of “localhost” for the site_url.

It looks like it works in that it is effectively the same as commenting out that line, but I cannot be certain: to my knowledge, my ISP doesn’t provide an IPv6 connection, so “disabling” it on Vista makes no difference to me at this point in time.
