Re: Plugin/Hack: Albumpattern
I’ve released another Testing Release, now up to number 3. Probably the biggest new feature is the ability to post comments to individual images (with only one small hack, and thats only if you want comment permlinks to work right). There are a bunch of other things, that you can find in the CHANGELOG.txt file included.
Download Albumpattern Testing Release 3

Re: Plugin/Hack: Albumpattern
Thats odd, I can download every other plugin from greenrift. I’ll try my other computer later. Thanks.
edit: it seemed to be download accelerator that had the problem.

Re: Plugin/Hack: Albumpattern
Argh!
Testing release 3 completely messed my albums up! Now every picture appears also in the article list as an article as such, in the section of the pictures! When I delete it in the article list, it also desappears from the album!
In your instructions, you say to overwrite the article.php file, only THERE’S NO such file in your installation directory. What do I have to do? Of course I was stupid enough not to make backup copies of the old hack files.
Sigh…

Oh, weird. I forgot to include that, I’m an idiot. Sorry about that.
Redownload and overwrite the files, you’ve installed everything else correctly.

Re: Plugin/Hack: Albumpattern
Comments problem.
I’ve upgraded to RC3, overwritten the older files and replaced the ‘optional’ files but am having some troubles with the comments. They preview just fine but upon submission vanish into a white page never to be seen again.
I’m sure I’m missing something obvious, but for the life of me can’t find it. You can see what I mean here.
Edited: Sorry. I jumped the gun here and comments don’t work at all. Clearly this is unrelated to the album plugin.
Edited again: May as well update this, I can’t imagine being any more embarassed. My problem was related to the optional comments.php file in RC3, replacing it with the original allowed comments to work again both in the albums and the remainder of the site.

Re: Plugin/Hack: Albumpattern
Version 3 works really well and I even got “Photostack-like” thumbnail navigation to work, bu t I have one question: can I call just the album title? Right now I have txp:title and it works for the album, but as soon as I click on an image, it is replaced with the image title. I want all the images in one album to have the title of the album.
Other than that, this is great and makes managing a lot of photos a lot easier.

Re: Plugin/Hack: Albumpattern
perhaps this is a bad question to ask at this time of its release but is there any way to make the photos popup into a new window instead of on the same page? Thanks.

Re: Plugin/Hack: Albumpattern
Hi there,
this is my problem: I cant upload any image, at first attempt I get ‘Problem Inserting into database’ error message.
I’m using version 1.0TR3 working on localhost
plugin is activated
I’ve run again albumpattern_sql.php
my images folder has 777 permission
in mysql I can see a table named txp_album…
where I’m wrong??
thanks in advance

Make sure you have a dedicated section for Albumpattern, and then also setup the preferences first (click Album, then “Edit Preferences”). That should hopefully fix it.
