Minor organizational suggestion: this plugin may be a candidate for the orphan disclaimer. It’s not been updated in a number of years and no longer works, the plugin author expressed several years ago he didn’t have time to update it so it would work, the original website is down, and the plugin is unavailable.

Now off to where the sun never shines. Thanks, Mike. Can you tell whether the two proposals by jakob and etc, some posts above, are valid replacements for the plugin or only for some of its functions? I could hint at these alternatives in the initial post.

I’ve used TXP Tweet aka arc_twitter by Andy Carter, so have not had the occasion to try out jakob and etc’s suggestions. I saw this plugin mentioned in another thread, and out of curiosity was checking the thread.
