My point was that if asking for help (no matter how silly it may sound) is seen as bad karma, then it isn’t a support forum! I didn’t declare that the forum has offered no help whatsover :S And why has all this being blown well out of proportion, it’s really irritating, and it’s quite childish.

This is putting words in our mouth. It’s not asking for help, it’s how you ask for help. There are no special rules, just courtesy. Thousands of others ask for help and receive helpful answers. They can also say thank you. It’s bad manners that gets bad karma.

In terms of the way of asking for help, you can’t really take the way of wording a question of the internet seriously, I merely asking a question and that is that, I’m trying to be polite, using grammer, or even proper english, after all it’s the net and I’m not speaking, rather typing a sort of excerpt of what I’m thinking.
Where as something like what GOCOM (sorry but you did annoy me) said for a reply ‘With that, we get the magical answer duber number: <txp:comments_count />. Oh, lord reading is hard, isn’t it?’
THAT IS bad mannered and actually taking the piss! So take it how however you wish :S

I still stand behind my words; read. Bookmark the Tag List as stated behofe and I’m still stating it. With that list you get almost all your answers. It just maybe requires couple hours to get used to it, but reading is:
- Fun
- It might raise your intelligence from the current level. (no i didn’t say it is low, but reading makes it even higher).
- Knownledge. What ever you know and trasmit to others, the more others will respect you. Or did you really think “ganstas” get so “gansta” only because they can say “bitch” and “fugly”?
Btw, your from England, right? Proper polite English “wording” should be easy for you, it’s your native language, when quite many (or less) at the forums don’t speak english at all in their casual life.
And why I diss you;
- For the reasons, and sake, what others told you earlier.
- Plus for that what mannequi said (funny list, btw).
- Plus the fact that you act with the same manner in other places too; with that nice nick, simplecandy. Safari still isn’t major popularity browser, IE and Fx are.
And to add, what is that title of yours? Simplecandy is not a real company, right?

I’m not sure what ‘simplecandy’ is to do with anything, but it’s the name of a design studio in the UK.
But as for being english :) YES I would use proper english and all that, but considering it’s a forum, ie quick discussion/support, their would be no need to revise grammatical stuff etc, more to quickly get the point across. x

a lot of people come here because they found this clever piece of software and they want to know how they can make the most of it, appreciating the fact that a lot of effort has been put into it over the years making it work well the way it works.
There are others that start complaining from day one why txp doesn’t do this or that and why it works one way and not like how they’d want it to work. Some wise up and come to accept the current state while others keep complaining.
Who do you think, is likely to receive constructive and helpful input here?
Also, have you ever considered the detrimental effect constant nagging might have on the the enthusiasm of our core developers?
