Re: rah_textile_bar

Gocom,

You’re right – false alarm.
When I tried it in Safari it worked fine – so I cleared private data in FF and restarted it – now all is well.
Not sure how/why that was causing an issue. The weird thing is that when I turned your plugin off stm_article_order worked.

I dunno?

Maybe Gremlins ? : )

I think your memory was full? Btw, sometimes Fx just stops parsing Javascript on my current comp :D

So, i suspect Gremlins too :P

Re: rah_textile_bar

impressive

maybe you’re correct and my host is slow – but this version makes a really huge difference – the buttons are shown nearly instantly now.

Thanks for the effort despite negating the need… ;)

Re: rah_textile_bar

I’m seeing a minor problem with the display Jukka. Once the buttons are in place obviously the textarea is pushed down to accomodate them however the “Text”, “XHTML” and “Preview” tabs to the side of the textarea remain where they were and so are out of alignment. Any way of sorting that?

I see no problem, so no ;) I don’t see it as a problem, neither I will fix it (cause it isn’t problem obviously, only matter of “how I want to…” :P): it is just Textpattern style. It doesn’t actually matter if the images are on the top or little below or top.

If you want to “fix” something, aka move the images, then you can always modify Textpattern’s CSS by adding padding to td#article-tabs (that maybe doesn’t work on all browsers cause the padding differes from col to col) that the images are lined “correctly”.

Btw, the images have never been in “correct” place if you ask me. They lay on browsers defaults :D

Even hell runs with money – Textpattern runs with Text.

Re: rah_textile_bar

I don’t disagree. It isn’t the fault of the plug-in and I know I could move them via CSS but I wondered if there were some automated way of adding the extra top-spacing required.

Hehe, no probs ;) Easiest way is possibly to add the padding ‘cause everyone wont even use the original TXP styles. Time to drink some soya choco.

Re: rah_textile_bar

Well that’s the way I’ve gone with it Jukka. I don’t use the original CSS myself so I’ve just added a note within the CSS for A Bit Blue (the next version) to adjust the padding if a plug-in such as this is used.

Re: rah_textile_bar

Small typo in v. 0.3

in Admin – >Extensions – >Textilebar:

link to docu reads “Documention” instead of “Documentation”

Great plugin!

hi

is it possible to modify your plugin, so that it can be used in the comment area?

No need to modify the plugin. Just call the Javascript / css on your public pages, and plus change the Javascript’s body init textarea to message.

Or alternative just use hak_textile_tags and modify it’s look to your desires. I would choose the last option, if I were you. Customizing it is quite simple with CSS.
