Re: EBL_Upload
I’ll most likely put up a teaser video in the next couple of days to give you an idea as to how it’s working.
That was more than a month ago… Do you have any idea when the new version is ready?

Re: EBL_Upload
Barring any unforeseen bugs: Imminent
Changes in Version 3
- no external configuration file needed.
- adds three prefs to the prefs table (valid file type, valid image types, serial number).
- adds files upload ability.
- image cropping (thumbnail and image)
- a whole lot faster
- uses a little jquery.
- Pending : Works with 4.07
- Pending : Works with MLP
- no external language file.
- Debating : Placing the SWF within the database. As it’s only 4.5k, it’s not large and makes installation a lot easier.
- no external language file.

Re: EBL_Upload
Also Pending : Adding the ability to edit the description / title information post-import without having to click on every file/image individually. This may or may not make it in this weeks release.

Re: EBL_Upload
Hello all.
Just got a sneak peak of the upcoming release from Eric.
This will definitely be worth the wait!
- Interface looks native to TXP – uses a little bit of jQuery to keep things tidy when you aren’t uploading.
- Batch uploads for both images and files tab
- Cropped thumbnail creation
- Ability to create a new image/file category on the fly
- Ability to add alt tag and caption to each image. – Yep. this is totally amazing!
Sounds like a release is just around the corner – Eric said the “to-do” list is pretty small.
There’s your morsel to drool over for the next week or so.
:)

Re: EBL_Upload
It’s a really bad render of that video. Everytime it converts it to FLV, I lose a LOT of video quality. grumble

Re: EBL_Upload
I’m still chasing a couple of bugs here and there, but while I do that, here’s a good quality screen cast
