Hi steve & gocom:

text complete is exactly what i needed! it’s really flexible too because you can store a lot of different text and trigger it using different keystrokes. sometimes the best solution is the easiest one. I was so focused on getting the solution through the textpattern interface that I forgot about the web browser itself!

wysiwyg will probably not work for me as I use textile in all my posts, and there seems to be an toggle issue there.

No, if you use something that only inserts Textile via plain JS, and doesn’t include that kind of fancy text-editor ;) I don’t have no issue, because I have only a bar that inserts textile tags and my desired codes.
