My french is very rusty, but I think you mentioned you are thinking about a plug that switches styles based on time – possible like at Christmas or other holidays? If so, it sounds like you are thinking of something along this line, but with the ability to go beyond a 24 hour/day/night type concept? Perhaps it might give you a starting point. Good luck! :)
