Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] sed_section_fields

Are you using Gerhard’s modified version of Txp 4.0.8 with that?

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] sed_section_fields

I’ve discovered what I believe is an incompatibility between sed_section_fields and rah_section_titles. Activating the latter stops the custom fields being updated on changing the section select list in the Write tab. I’ll contact Gocom and see if he can confirm it.

Yes, it’s a known incompatibility

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] sed_section_fields

I’m having problems getting this to save the selections for hiding fields. I click on the Yes radio and then click save, and everything looks ok, but when I click on the sections tab again and go back to that section, it is showing No. It is working otherwise, somehow I got other sections saved with the appropriate settings, but now I have one that seems to be stuck.

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] sed_section_fields

Les

Can you let me know…

  1. which version of the plugin is giving the problem.
  2. which version of txp you are running it on.
  3. what the name and title of the problematic section are.

Many thanks

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] sed_section_fields

Strange, nothing in that list would lead me to think there would be any conflicts.

Do you have phpMyAdmin access to your DB tables?

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] sed_section_fields

Not yet… I just want to know what the following entry in the txp_prefs table is. Could you post the value you find in the `val` field of the `sed_sf_testimonials_field_labels` row please (if it exists!)
