Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] Textcommerce Alpha 0.3
I’m trying to install textcommerce to test it out; all the installs go well except for tc_core_library. I get the following error:
A problem occured while loading the plugin: tc_core_library -> User_Warning: You have an error in your SQL syntax near ‘on update CURRENT_TIMESTAMP,
`order_status` varchar(80) NOT NULL default ‘’‘ at line 17
Has anyone answered this yet? I couldn’t find a post.

Not sure with that specific issue, but I had the most success installing on a clean TXP install, and you definitely have to install the TextCommerce components in the correct order as described on their site.
Hope that helps.

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] Textcommerce Alpha 0.3
I’ve been working on getting TextCommerce to work with PayPal.
I had it working on a txp 4.0.5 install – with a few catches.
A) The shopping cart was simply sending a lump sum total to PayPal for checkout (and also could send the shopper’s name, address, etc.). Acceptable, but not as powerful as we’d like.
B) While attempting to get TextCommerce to deliver an itemized list of products to PayPal – with sizes and colors specified so that the shopper could review all the details of their purchase within PayPal itself, I needed to upgrade to 4.0.6 to get the latest glz_custom_fields to work.
C) I have now lost the TextCommerce tab, and can’t seem to get it back – despite trying to add the “add_privs” statement. TextCommerce actually adds a new tab – not in the extensions pane but in its own location between “content” and “presentation” – with multiple subtabs, so the instructions listed on the TXP Forum don’t apply in a straightforward enough way for me to implement. I would love some help in figuring this out.
Once the above issue is resolved, I’m envisioning tying mem_self_register in with the customer side of TextCommerce, and then having one heck of a happy eCommerce plugin suite.

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] Textcommerce Alpha 0.3
Is there any movement on this plugin? The main page has not been updated since December. If I were interested in a shopping cart / PayPal integration, should I go with yab_shop? Kind of annoying since I donated to the Textcommerce effort and the only thing available is an alpha release.

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] Textcommerce Alpha 0.3
I know. I am using it. I just don’t like when projects fall of the face of the planet, especially after asking for money. I try to donate to all plugin developers as much as I can, so it’s only a matter of time before I got burned. Not a big deal.

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] Textcommerce Alpha 0.3
Super interested in this plugin, this year seems to be the ecommers year, because 60% of the projects I have worked in are online shops, and having a plugin like this would be great!
Hope someone takes over this plugin :)
