Re: XAMPP slow on Vista?
I connect through a router, but I prefer using a Firewall for the purpose of controlling exactly what programs can talk to the Internet, which I can’t do with a router. I’ve been using the free version of PC Tools Firewall Plus. It’s not bad, but it does have its quirks.
