Re: Gaia, a blog template for Textpattern
Just another word of thanks to Mr. Agafonkin for this excellent design. I’d been using Blogger and was looking for an alternative earlier this year, and I came across Textpattern (via Google search). I’d never set up my own database-driven site before, though. But when I saw the Gaia design, I knew I’d found what I was looking for and that I had to give Textpattern a try. Finally got it up earlier this month, and it’s a great success for me so far. Many thanks.

Re: Gaia, a blog template for Textpattern
Could you take a look at the page template for that section and see if there is any <txp:article />
tag there?

Re: Gaia, a blog template for Textpattern
I’m sorry, I deleted the post.
I was getting an error that was down to an incorrect instruction in the installation. It asked to create a new section called “articles,” when it used the default “article” section, or vice-versa. I fixed it easily.

Re: Gaia, a blog template for Textpattern
Hi,
First, congratulation for this great template. Is simply awesome.
Second, I’m new in all this cms thing, and I need some help. When i go to “View Site” the Home and the About pages are ok, but when i go to Archive comes up this message in the top of page
“Tag error: <txp:article_custom limit=99999 section=“article” form=“archive_article” /> -> Textpattern Warning: Attribute values must be quoted on line 984”
any help will be usefull.
thanks
Ps. Thanks to jm, great post.

Re: Gaia, a blog template for Textpattern
Change limit=99999
to limit="99999"
. The template apparently hasn’t been kept up to date with the most recent Txp version. If you see any more tag errors, you can look up the correct tag and attribute usage in Textbook.

Re: Gaia, a blog template for Textpattern
Hi,
I don’t know if this is the best place to ask this, but i’ll do anyway.
I need to include a section that allows see several images at the same time, like sample of works or something, and that those images are in the same hosting of the site (not in a Flickr or something).
Anything will help.
Greetings.

Re: Gaia, a blog template for Textpattern
Hi barabet, because this is not a specific question about the Gaia template, you’d better open a new topic in the How do I… forum. A lot more people will notice it there ;)
