Is there a chance this fake swc file won’t work at another stage (do I need to test other steps, functionalities, etc. with it) or is this the end of this issue?

I never work with flash files myself, but from what I’ve googled, I understand that compressed swf files are stored mostly with the .swf extension, not .swc. There’s support for swc type files in PHP 4.3 and up so it should be okay, I think. And apart from gathering size and extension, nothing else is done with normal .swf files as far as I can see and those things work just as well with .swc files.
Perhaps a flash expert can shed some light on this.
