I’m getting the same error. Had to deactivate it. Have used it successfully before – it’s a useful plugin.

When & where does this error occur? Please post your full diagnostics.

Re: wet_quicklink: Quick internal link builder
Hi Robert,
This is weird — I have used your plugin (thanks!) before and always preferred the option to use ‘wet_link’ as opposed to Textile or other options (as it seems to keep the TITLE content for the links ‘real’—reflecting the pointed-to Article even if the Article’s name is changed).
I just went to add a link to a TXP 4.2.0 site but when rendered in a browser I got:
Tag error: <txp:wet_link href="14"> -> Textpattern Warning: tag does not exist on line 1120
So I:
- Upgraded wet_quicklink from 0.5 to 0.6. Same error
- Deleted then re-installed wet_peex and also wet_quicklink. Same error
- Created a whole new virtual host, new local URL, new copy of TXP 4.2.0, installed only the two wet_ plugins, created a link and still got the same error.
That last one convinced me to post here to ask if you can suggest anything.
Thanks in advance for any comments, BTW, if I choose any other linking option (not wet_link), no errors.
Cheers, -Alan

Re: wet_quicklink: Quick internal link builder
Please assert the existence of wet_link.

Re: wet_quicklink: Quick internal link builder
Embarrassed :S
Sorry, I missed that, I knew I needed two plugins, the wet_peex being the second and I was of course wrong — I now see I need wet_link, wet_peex and wet_quicklink.
My apologies for wasting your time, it of course works 100% now and thank you for helping me when the answer was so simple and I should have spotted it… Cheers, -Alan

Re: wet_quicklink: Quick internal link builder
Hi Robert,
wet_quicklink & wet_link are brilliant, thank you.
Ideally I would like wet_quicklink to store my preference of using wet_link for the link type in the db rather than a cookie, is this something you might? No worries if not, still love these.
Thanks again for this lovely DRY way of linking — brilliant. Cheers, -Alan

Re: wet_quicklink: Quick internal link builder
Thanks, Alan.
Please try wet_quicklink 0.7 which stores your preferred link pattern as a site preference and fixes the PHP 4 parse error reported by CodeWalker.

Re: wet_quicklink: Quick internal link builder
Hi Robert,
I love this plugin – and use it a lot. Thank you.
I was thinking it would be great to be able to pick “managed links” from the links tab as well.
You could then store complicated links / links to sections / links to external sites that are commonly used.
Maybe a small change to the interface to allow you to choose from articles or links?
Just throwing that out there.
:)
