@stmtc, Are you also using redirect rules within gbp_permanent_links too? I’ll try do some testing as I imagine something might break.
no, i’m only using your plugin for various custom link schemes for different sections. no redirect rules.
edit: i just tested it with a few redirects and it seems to work!

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] Redirect Pro v1
I’ve having a couple of teething troubles with the plugin.
In debug mode, I get messages like the following:
Notice: Undefined variable: Title in /usr/local/psa/home/vhosts/mysite.com/httpdocs/textpattern/publish/taghandlers.php on line 2443
zem_redirect: from /section/article-title to http://www.mysite.com/section/article-title?request_uri=%2Fsection%2Farticle-title
Clicking the redirect link just takes you round in circles…
Notice: Undefined variable: Title in /usr/local/psa/home/vhosts/mysite.com/httpdocs/textpattern/publish/taghandlers.php on line 2443
zem_redirect: from /section/article-title?request_uri=%2Fsection%2Farticle-title to http://www.mysite.com/section/article-title?request_uri=%2Fsection%2Farticle-title%3Frequest_uri%3D%252Fsection%252Farticle-title&
qs=request_uri%3D%252Fsection%252Farticle-title
Requesting the site home page gives the following message:
zem_redirect: from / to http://www.mysite.com/?request_uri=%2F
NB: I’ve seen urls with the request_uri part in my logs before installing this plugin (mostly from Googlebot) which is something I hoped this plugin would help with, so that may be unconnected. However the “Undefined variable: Title” message only appears with the plugin enabled.
Any ideas appreciated.
thanks.

v1.1 fixes the undefined Title notice in debugging mode.

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] Redirect Pro v1
Is there a way for the plugin not to ad a trailing slash on section’s root URL?
TXP has never used this, and if it’s somewhat cleaner in theory, it’s delaying some Google action going on.

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] Redirect Pro v1
Jeremie,
It’s best to ask questions via the Subscriber Support feature, I’ll answer much quicker.
Trailing slashes on the site root are a bit tricky. Some browsers (Mozilla) will automatically add them; some don’t (IE). Redirecting to a site URL without a trailing slash can trigger a circular redirect on Mozilla and similar browsers.

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] Redirect Pro v1
Redirect Pro v1.2 is now available for subscriber download. It fixes an incompatibility caused by rss_unlimited_categories, and relaxes some over-enthusiastic automatic redirection rules that were interfering with some types of manual redirection.
