Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] zem_event [flexible integrated event management]

I’ve been trying to install the plugin file, from http://zem-event.googlecode.com/files/zem_event_v0.3.5.txt. Both Textpattern installations I’ve tried installing it on reject it.

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] zem_event [flexible integrated event management]

I don’t use this plugin myself so I don’t have it installed anywhere, you might try an earlier release, or perhaps someone who does use this release can help?

Hmm. loads fine for me on localhost under Ver 4.0.6, it could be the program you are using to handle it.
To be sure you can go to the source tab on googlecode and display release 0.3.5(@ source/browse/release/0.3.5/view raw file) and copy/paste the source directly to the TXP admin interface.

Quick shortcut

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] zem_event [flexible integrated event management]

I’ve managed to install the latest versions of zem_event and zem_paginate plugins as well as created the directory for the JS files under textpattern/js . I now have a new tab in the “content” section called “event catagories”. I can add event catagories but there’s no where to upload events. Has anyone else had this issue?

S Murphey –
On the normal article write page, there is a link at the bottom of the page that says “event” – click on this and you will see a host of fields where you can enter data for your event.

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] zem_event [flexible integrated event management]

Is it possible to sort events displayed in the calendar by the actually time the event takes place and not the time it was posted?

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] zem_event [flexible integrated event management]

Hi.

I’m having a bug and it seems zem_event is the guilty one.
If I write an article, publish it and then hit the “Save” button again, the article is created again. Disabling zem_event stopped this behaviour.

Any ideas?

BTW, I will try to work on updating this plug-in to work with latest jQuery and jQuery UI datePicker. It doesn’t seem to be hard to do, but it would be good if references to JS files on this plug-in are changed to /textpattern/ (they are pointing to /textpattern/js/ in current version) so the jQuery file that comes with TxP can be used.

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] zem_event [flexible integrated event management]

Hi,
with <txp:zem_event_list> … contained content …</txp:zem_event_list> there are no problems to show all recurring events of one month.
But with <txp:zem_event_list category=“sunrise”> … contained content …</txp:zem_event_list> there are only two events (category=“sunrise”) per month, but we all know, there are more.

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] zem_event [flexible integrated event management]

Aenna, sop there’s more than two events assigned to the sunrise named category? As if you use the category attribute, it returns only articles from that specific category.

Could you provide a tag trace from that specific section?

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] zem_event [flexible integrated event management]

Gocom, there are different Categories. In Cat sunrise the article “sonnenaufgang” repeats every day (in June 30x). But after click on the mini-calender for example June, only one article “Sonnenaufgang” will be displayed (if use category attribute)

Where is the mistake?

<txp:zem_event_list category=“sunrise” wraptag=“p” break=“br” date_from=“today” date_to=“tomorrow”>

<p><txp:zem_event_categories wraptag=“b” label=“1” /> </p>

<txp:zem_event_permlink Wraptag=”“ ><txp:zem_event_name wraptag=“b” /></txp:zem_event_permlink>
<br>
<txp:zem_event_date label=“Datum” wraptag=”“ /> <txp:zem_event_time label=“Uhrzeit” wraptag=”“ />

</txp:zem_event_list>

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] zem_event [flexible integrated event management]

Hi, I have a mix of event and non-event articles. I’d like to be able to display a list of only non-event articles and future event articles (i.e., no past event articles). Any ideas on how to do this?

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] zem_event [flexible integrated event management]

OK, seems nobody has an answer for my previous question. Next question, then: how do I exclude an event category from a list or calendar? I want to display only some categories in a calendar, not all.
