On your article-tag:
Why do you use all those attributes – or better: why do you use each one of them?
You can leave them out, for they reflect all the defaults.
Try simply
<txp:article limit=“10” />
Regarding the “older/newer”-links:
Just to make sure this point before:
The links in question only appear, if in the resulting page there are more articles than the limit, this means, if there is another article list / page of results.
This answer after a short look, if it doesn’t help, maybe I overlooked something. More time later.

hi mike,
sometimes I forget to use my brain… :-).
The thing I did was adding the “<txp:newer>Neuere Kolumnen</txp:newer> | <txp:older>Ältere Kolumnen</txp:older>” tags in an external .js file. Thats something I mustn´t do – shame on me!
I added the tags in the textpattern-file and everything works fine! Is it possible to add pagelinks in between those older and newer tags (something like 1 2 3…)? I´ll have a look for myself and try to figure it out!
