Re: 4.0.4 and article links

My Textpattern install is directly inside my public_html directory – the .htaccess replicated in my diagnostic is the one that operates over all of my webspace.

Re: 4.0.4 and article links

it looks like the right url is getting passed to txp – that’s the real kicker.

[CHOP URL Debug]:
request_uri:/weblog/article/51
u1: article
u2: 51
u3:
u4:
——[END CHOP URL Debug]——

basically u1 and u2 look like they should get populated properly. (I think I grabbed all the relevant parsing of the URL that publish.php is doing…).

And then my dog ate my badger, and the love was lost.

Re: 4.0.4 and article links

I can’t reproduce the problem on any of my test installs. There’s nothing obviously wrong in diagnostics. You’re both using plugins, which may or may not affect Textpattern’s behaviour.

Aha! And the culprit is…rss_superarchive 0.18! I just disabled it, and clean URLs now work as they did before. I will report this to the plugin author.

Re: 4.0.4 and article links

I can confirm Dave’s findings – disabling RSS superachive fixes the issue for me too. I must not have that version on my local install (but I’ll check this when I get home this evening).

Thanks!
