Re: Ebl_batchupload

not yet. I spent a good chunk of yesterday in the ER because of a coffee grinder. Expect a release by Tuesday.

Re: Ebl_batchupload

Oh, I’m good. Just a couple of cuts, and it looks like I’m going to need to regrow a new fingernail! Lesson learned? Keep my fingers away from coffee-grinder blades.

This plugin should be released any day now. I’ve been tweaking a couple things here and there, but its pretty much done. A couple of changes, I removed the usage of unsharpmask that it had previously. On large files, it would bog down and consume over 80megabytes of memory. I’ve kept the code that would invoke it’s usage, but just commented it out, so if anyone really NEEDS that functionality, they’ll be able to uncomment it. Really, I didn’t see any real difference between using it, and not using it. The image files looked to be identical after the resize / thumbnail.

Sorry about that.
I once managed to “eradicte” half a fingernail getting cought in a disc sander. It healed quickly, but the new grown fingernail wasn’t quite as smoothly curved during the first years after the accident – all back to normal now.

Re: Ebl_batchupload

I’m done, but I need to make sure it works with 4.0.6 before I release it. Also, I would like to get the shopping cart / license generator working before I release it so people can have instant downloads.

Re: Ebl_batchupload

Hi Eric. I am running 4.05 on one site and really could use the updated plugin. Are you ready for release yet?

Re: Ebl_batchupload

It is ready and is unofficially available right now. It requires 4.0.6 to work now due to changes in how the cookies/authentication is handled in the latest release.

Go to http://www.ericlimegrover.com/store/ and create an account. When you have, I’ll set you up to have the licenses/downloads available.

Re: Ebl_batchupload

Eric, registered now on your site. Note that when first landing on the store page, “register” leads to an error. I chose “log in” and registered from there. Its also not clear that choosing “number of licences required” leads to a PayPal payment page.

FYI

Edit: Your store is a TXP plugin? Cool! When is that being released? BTW, the menu goes over to the right on Safari for Mac – the contact link is over the right page border.

Edit #2: How did you get that really nice image transition for ebl_upload? Lovely.

Re: Ebl_batchupload

I’m not sure about the store as there are a couple of other projects out there for textpattern that are farther along than I am. I had to write my own because nothing else would handle the serial generation / restricted download thing. Depending on how those go will determine if I proceed further with it as a plugin. Right now, it’s a big haggard and not ready for release.

I fixed those issues. That submit button was actually the “purchase” button that leads to the paypal checkout. I corrected that.

The image zoom is called, “Fancy Zoom” and is available from: http://www.cabel.name/2008/02/fancyzoom-10.html

Oh! And you now have access to download the latest version.
