1. Almost. The only thing needed is to add a path prefix. Before: <notextile>RewriteRule ^(.) index.php</notextile>, after: <notextile>RewriteRule ^(.) /index.php</notextile> (for a root install).
2. No.
3. Yes (French and Polish now, half a dozen languages on the way).

• No, at least I couldn’t find it right now but it’s dead simple. You only have to choose a password and an optional comment on the db. Then it gives you all the data you need to know.
