Re: r1785 - Save button above fold
I called Jackob Nielsen and he thinks it should go above Status. He also said the article saved indicator text should be better highlighted as it’s very easily missed.

r1835 improves on the concept, I like it, hope Jackob does also.
Have we given thought to do the same in the Presentation tab?

I’ll throw in my 2¢, and say that I agree, very nicely done moving the publish button up.

hm… I’m a little bit confused… Now we have “More” on the right and “Advanced Options” on the left. That’s not very intuitive. Too many things hidden behind unclear headlines.
I’m sorry to say that, but maybe it would be helpfull to rethink the position and order of these fields in generell.
What about moving all fold-out things on the left:
Markup
- Article Markup
- Excerpt Markup
- Textile Help
Artikel Fields
- Artikel image
- custom 1
- custom 2
Advanced Options
- Override form
- Comments
- URL-only title
- Timestamp
Recent Articles
Not sure about this idea at all…

Re: r1785 - Save button above fold
Just as Skubidu, this leaves me confused. It is an improvement on the previous attempt. At the very least, the ‘more’ label should be more descriptive.
The idea of reorganising the left column is tempting.
- Markup and Textile
- Article Fields (including Keywords)
- Advanced Options
