I’ve just signed up with Netfirms because it’s one of the recommended hosts: http://team.textpattern.com/hosts
I’m having problems with clean URLs that I hope will be abe to sort out.
If I get confirmation that clean URLs are not supported then it’s probably a good idea if this hosting company isn’t one Texpattern recommends.

Did you check the relevant FAQs? and contact your host?

Here’s my problem. I tweaked the .htaccess file as per FAQs.
I still get the following error in diagnostic: clean_url_data_failed: <?xml version=“1.0” encoding=“UTF-8”?
http://bristolrnaclub.netfirms.com/meetings/autumn-meeting shows the homepage content, effectively, whilst it shoud show: http://bristolrnaclub.netfirms.com/index.php?id=9
I’ve emailed their support suggesting they have a look at the .htaccess file of another site that uses textpattern and is working properly — they should have a few given textpattern.com link to them.
