I’ve revised the plugin to allow for sortby and sortdir use in the tags

rss_unlimited_categories_filedunder = sortdir
rss_unlimited_categories_cloud = sortdir
rss_unlimited_categories_list = sortdir
rss_unlimited_categories_article_list = sortby and sortdir
rss_unlimited_categories_related = sortby and sortdir

Also, with rss_unlimited_categories_related tag, it will not list the active article as it currently does.

Per usual, back up your data before listening to strangers.

Download the file (copy text in file and replace code in the plugin – admin > plugin > rss_unlimited_categories | edit)

Indeed, I just confirmed this. The rss_unlimited_categories select box won’t display for me using Internet Explorer (6.0.2900, sp2), but will display using Firefox. It fails in IE both in my work and home machine.

Also, it shows up in Opera.

rss_blahblah_filedunder tag had a code error and wasnt displaying categories.

I’ve installed the plug-in and there appear to be no changes. I’ve applied the SQL statements as well. I still just get the same 2 category drop lists.

Any ideas?

Have you seen the posts above about the category lists not appearing in IE6? Is that the browser you are using?

And they don’t appear in FF if you are using the latest dev version of Txp. So unless the plugin is updated it’s destined to be unusable when the next version of Txp is released.

I’m on a Mac and I’ve tried Camino, firefox and Safari – all have the same problem. I am using Rev 1306 from SVN though, should this make a difference?
