Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] rss_article_edit - public site edit link
I agree with Yiannis.
Especially considering that new talented developers have come.

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] rss_article_edit - public site edit link
I find <a href="<txp:site_url />textpattern/index.php?event=article&step=edit&ID=<txp:article_id />">EDIT </a>
a nicer way to get to edit an article way from the frontend.
For one it initially requires logging into the backend, so it works only when you already logged in.
Also it doesn’t require any extra plugin.
At last the link stops working, when you log out of the backend.
Only drawback i can think of, is that the edit link is always visible (solution?).
However the link can be disguised by using a *, ~ or • as the link text, so that it appears to be just decoration.
A hole turned upside down is a dome, when there’s also gravity.
