Textpattern’s site appears to mimic the default template, different fonts but of similar structure. Should the Textpattern site be revamped, maybe this new site look can be used as the basis for a new default template?

Now that would be a good idea ! Just like the long overdue adoption of Mary’s txp admin facelift (which IMHO should be the new admin theme)…

I was just kidding about the TxP home page (though it does need a facelift); but I absolutely agree about mary’s admin facelift. It’s a no brainer.

If asked, I’m sure the gang of four could get someone to redesign the txp website (not only the frontpage, there are navigation issue on other part too). Even me.

Might be a no brainer (and on this I very much agree), but if so why was it not released along with the last releases ?
Something I’ve been wondering about, most definitely…

Most of the time it’s question of time and/or skills, but now there is no excuses not to do it ;p

Not me.

Dean and Co. know what they need to do (or not) for the mothership, and I’m sure it will happen when it’s so desired from above. Dean is likely not short of good design talent and help to get the job done when he wants to. There’s better crusades for members to take up.

  • Lack of trackback. This has been a basic blogging feature for about three years, hell even haloscan will give you it
  • RSS 0.92. If I remember correctly, it doesn’t even have post DATES in it, thank God (or the deity of your choice) for Feedburner

As far as trackback goes, here’s the word on it. If you really want it, build a plugin.
