Re: [wiki] Printable documentation (pdf maybe)?

So what exactly is the problem with this? Nobody commented or clarified.

I suppose it would be nice to have some whiz bang printing, but let’s not forget that first and foremost this is a wiki for online use. Heck, we don’t even have much content in it yet. Also, I think it’s still in TextBook’s future — if only a smaller more-refined sister version — that something will go CMS (though not until internationalization is figured out). The wiki will always exist for drafing purposes, but who knows what the future holds. The point being let’s try and make use of what we have before getting too involved. Things I would like to see first is RSS, and even better, somebody actually writing content. ;)

However, hakjoon, if you want to pursue advanced printing mechanisms, by all means.

My two cents.

Re: [wiki] Printable documentation (pdf maybe)?

After looking at MediaWiki export stuff in more detail it all seems very convoluted and not very proven. Personally I don’t think it’s really worth pursuing. If offline access is really an issue I say we could maybe do some monthly html dumps or something.
