Re: hak_tinymce WYSIWYG article editor

Hello, I installed 0.8.2 and it looks really nice. I however can’t seem to get the tinymce editor to be toggled off by default, no matter how I configure the preferences in its Extension tab. I have some existing articles with txp tags, and if I open these for editing, the tinymce editor loads and eats up the txp tags. When I toggle the editor off, the tags are still gone.

Hence I need a way for the tinymce editor to be off by default.

Edit: I tested this both in Firefox 3.0.11 and Safari 4.0.1. Behavior is same in both.

Re: hak_tinymce WYSIWYG article editor

Hi, is this plugin orphaned? A week ago, I posted a question about setting the tinymce editor to be toggled off by default and I have yet to see a reply. Has anybody run into this issue?

Re: hak_tinymce WYSIWYG article editor

Can’t find a problem, 0.8.2 is working fine for me on two different Textpattern installations.

Re: hak_tinymce WYSIWYG article editor

Using a SVN version the hak_tinymce is avoiding the toggles in the write tab to work. Only toogle editor works. No more Textile help, recent articles toggles. So I reverted to 4.0.8 for the moment. Please check it before 4.2.0.

Re: hak_tinymce WYSIWYG article editor

I’ve just installed hak_tinymce – but am probably making some newbie basic error. I’ve installed and activated the plugin, and setup the preferences (accepted default options) under extensions tag. I’ve also selected the “leave text untouched” option in main preferences tag.

But I’m not getting anything that looks like a WYWIWYG editor – only blank textboxes for title. body and excerpt. What bleeding obvious thing am I missing?

Thanks in advance,

Marg

Re: hak_tinymce WYSIWYG article editor

Make sure the write screen is finding js file, 9 times out of 10 that is the problem. The path checker in admin tab is not 100% accurate sometimes.

Firebug is handy for this.

Re: hak_tinymce WYSIWYG article editor

Hi, I’m having a conflicting issue with the txpimage plugin and theme_advanced_styles css.

I want to be able to use the txpimage plugin to be able to link directly to the textpattern image library, however when I insert the custom style selector properties (theme_advanced_styles : "example1=example1;exam=example2",) the image selector stops working – it brings up the window but the ajax is continually loading.

What’s strange is that if i leave the advanced styles blank, the image selector works fine… i.e. theme_advanced_styles : "",

However, I do need to use both functions…

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance

Re: hak_tinymce WYSIWYG article editor

Now that 4.2.0 is out can someone take a look to see how to fix the side panel in the write tab? The toggles no longer work for either version.

Thanks.

Re: hak_tinymce WYSIWYG article editor

I’m trying to find some time to look at this. I was hoping to have it done before 4.2 got released but unfortunately my fatherly services client has not been cooperating.
