Safari + TinyMCE = glitchy. Real possibility for support only came with Safari 3.0 and I think it’s still experimental. Javascript errors elsewhere on the page can also cause TinyMCE to totally misbehave in Safari. Check you javascript error console just in case.

Yes, but the real problem for me is FF. For me, I dont mind if it doesn’t work in safari. My client will use MSIE or FF at best.

Re: hak_tinymce WYSIWYG article editor

Haven’t had a chance to try it with 3.0.2 yet.

Re: hak_tinymce WYSIWYG article editor

I tried and it’s not working quite well – some things are ok but all popup windows are broken.

Re: hak_tinymce WYSIWYG article editor

That’s weird since the popups are controlled by tinyCME code not the plugin

Sorry about the delay on an update. I have been swamped with other work.

Re: hak_tinymce WYSIWYG article editor

That’s ok :)

The cleaner HTML in the new version is what i’m most looking forward to. Plus the Firefox 3 fixes.

Re: hak_tinymce WYSIWYG article editor

is there any way of working with files – similar to images?

i.e. insert a file directly into the body?

Re: hak_tinymce WYSIWYG article editor

sorry if this has been already asked. I’ve noticed that paragraphs are not working ok in 4.0.6.
for example when I try to make a new one or just move the paragraph up one place it always jumps two places (up or down).
is there a fix for that?

thank you!

Re: hak_tinymce WYSIWYG article editor

Sorry fuls, I was hoping some one else might have an answer. Are the double paragraphs showing up while editing or after save?

If during editing what browser are you using?
If after save, what do the use textile drop downs say?

The 4.0.6 upgrade should have changed anything in terms of the basic TinyMCE behavior, as it’s not even aware it’s running in TXP.
