Mary, I finally cracked it…
phew! Maybe you’re as relieved as I am ;) Thanks very much for your help!

I hadn’t quite understood that I needed to use <code>txp:upm_file_packets_article_custom</code> rather than <code>txp:article_custom</code> in the page template. Duh.

I spotted a slight typo in the new help file – it says <code><txp:txp:upm_file_packets_article_custom /></code>
