I am very familiar with MediaWiki. Forums are good for a dialogue but wikis are better for documentation. I could write some “how tos” about using the wiki with screenshots etc if people think that might be useful?

Wiki accounts are only by request, and you need an account to edit all pages? no wonder no one uses the wiki…!

BTW, there is a MediaWiki extension that allows the use of Textile instead of wikitext. Seems like Textbook would be the perfect place to use it…
