It’s possible to disable functions using a php.ini setting or compilation options. function_exists will still turn true if the function is disabled, is_callable won’t.

That would probably never happen in this particular case, but as a matter of habit I think is_callable is a more appropriate test.

I can’t download the plugin. With first link I get only this in .txt file:

I’d suggest going with a plugin currently being supported like bloke’s plugin.

However, if you really want zem_article_info, let me know and I’ll send you a copy.

This plug-in good, but does not approach for me. It was necessary for me to have a permlink to article in the write tab.
