In what context is
range => Range
used? In Danish we have a lot different context dependent words for “range”.
‘Range’ is at the bottom of the Content > Articles screen. You can select the first and the last article of a range, click ‘Range’ and everything in between will be selected too.
What does this mean:
copy_css_as => …or copy style as
In what context is it used?
It is at the bottom of the Presentation > Style screen, next to the ‘Save’ button. You can copy an existing style under a new name.
In what context is tab_admin => Admin used?
This is the text in (or maybe better on) the Admin tab.
I’ll have a look at the other ones.

I have reached the word translation
admin => Admin
. What is the context here? Is it short for administrator? Or maybe administrate as a verb? Or something else?
Can’t find where this one is used, but in the Dutch translation the same translation as for tab_admin is used. So it would be more like ‘administration’?
What is the “for” in this:
banned_for => Banned For
And why do you use a capital F in for?
In the Content > Comments screen, there is a link ‘List banned IPs’. When you click that, you see the banned IPs in a table; ‘Banned For’ is a column head, this column shows the comment for which you banned the commenter. In my view ‘for’ as it’s used here means ‘because of’. And I wouldn’t use a capital F, no ;)

What does date_banned => Date Banned
mean?
In what context is it used? Is it a particular date that is banned? Or is it the date a particular comment has been banned or what is it?

Re: [Obsolete] Translating Textpattern to ...
What is the context here:
file => File
This is a very generic word. Is it a file like on a disk? Or is it “File” like in the File menu? Or something else? We have a lot of different words for file in Danish depending on context.

Is it the number of times a file has been downloaded?
The number of total downloads?
Or something else?

linked_to_file => Linked record to file
- I haven’t been in TXP for awhile, but I think this is for the Content>Files tab, when you import a file that was FTP’d to the /files directory.

Re: [Obsolete] Translating Textpattern to ...
Hello,
i prepared an updated Polish translation (Polski). Currently the pl-pl.txt is accessible from my website.
By the way, i realised that polish language don’t have any translator responsible for it… would I be able to get a translator’s account to manage this file in future? Thanks.

In Content > Files, when you edit a file, it says Download Count
, the number of times that file has been downloaded.
Context of
name_used => Name Used
?
It’s in the same screen as Date Banned
, the name the banned commenter used.
