Re: So where are you running 4.0?
I run about 4 txp sites and plan to migrate another 10 until December.
It is very easy for my clients to maintain the contents of their own websites easy and quickly.
The best feature of txp is: the learning curve almost as plain as the encephalogram of a dead brain.
The server is ours: Debian Sarge box hosted on a Datacenter.

Re: So where are you running 4.0?
I’m only having some problems with old plugins at NearlyFreeSpeech.net. Back in the gamma days, I had to ask NFS.net to make some changes due to safe mode, but I have had no problems since.

Re: So where are you running 4.0?
I’m running it at artiswork.org with dreamhost and I likee.
.htaccess is clean and smooth.
they provide mod_rewrite
they have unlimited databases so I can run as many txp installs as I want or need to.
They provide shell access which is nice for backing up my txp site.
Hmm. There’s probably a lot more, but all in all they seem utterly compatible.
Thanks for everyone’s hard work.
