Is <abbr> included in Textile?

That is the question.

And if not, is there any obscure reason for not including “abbr” in Textile?

I know abbr it’s not supported by IE, but I dont believe that was a reason for not including it in Textile.

Or maybe it is included but I dont know how to use it.

There isn’t a short hand for it. Don’t forget you can always use raw HTML when needed. Acroynms work: RAM(Random Access Memory) becomes RAM.
