wet_amazonassoc: amazon associate links creator
wet_amazonassoc creates all the necessary markup to link to a single Amazon merchandise designated by it’s ASIN. Both the <a> tag and the Ad Impression tracking <img> tag are created.
- Redirects to Amazon without donating Page Rank (in case you cared).
- Creates web server log entries for click throughs.

sounds good so does this have a search facility? eg. in the admin area i search for an item, it finds and i click insert and it then inserts the object and the other bits that i’ve checked? Or does this work differently?
i’m currently using another amazon plugin for which i can choose the size of the image, whether i want the title, if i want it linked as wella s the image and so on – but all this flexibility requires manual work – i don’t mind, but something automated would be even better

no, this plugin has no automation at all. My use case is as simple as possible: Browse through amazon, extract the ASIN from the amazon page’s URL I’m interested in and write my plugin tag into the article. It’s probably directed to the casual user who wants to annotate her cd or book reviews with a “purchase” link, not the ones trying to build a full featured amazon affiliate store.
