Re: [ORPHAN] etz_crumbs

This plugin is not designed to use spc_section_alias to translate section names. You should use upm_section_title instead.

Make sure you have upm_section_title and upm_category_title installed and running, and you also have set all the section and category titles set through the admin interface.

Re: [ORPHAN] etz_crumbs

Disabling spc_section alias and grabbing new svn. And I’ll see what happens & report back.
Thanks!

Re: [ORPHAN] etz_crumbs

Magically all clear now.

EDIT:

Was clear, but appears to not groove too well with latest rev400+. Pages disappear until I disable the plugin.

Re: [ORPHAN] etz_crumbs

Is there any way *not to display the parent *of a nested category? For example:

I want: Home > Section > Subcategory
Instead of: Home > Section > Category > Subcategory

I have a structure where there’s a section and parent category with the same name, and it looks kinda dumb.

Re: [ORPHAN] etz_crumbs

I’m going to add an option for this. For now, you may try using version 0.1, although if you do so, you’re on your own because I’m no longer supporting this old version.

Re: [ORPHAN] etz_crumbs

Thanks etz,

Can you explain in a little more detail what the combine categories feature does and the syntax one should use?

Thanks again

Re: [ORPHAN] etz_crumbs

“Combine categories” is something inherited as is from tcm_crumbs. It’s the separator between category 1 and category 2, if you have both of them displaying. It defaults to an ampersand surrounded by spaces.

Re: [ORPHAN] etz_crumbs

Thanks again… I’ll keep an eye out for non-displaying parent categories.

Re: [ORPHAN] etz_crumbs

For some reason, etz_crumbs is not working properly for me. I am running Textpattern 1.0rc3 · 29 Apr 2005.

I use the default
<txp:etz_crumbs />
. My site is in http://apalia.local/assetsos/new/ . On http://apalia.local/assetsos/new/faq/what-is-rss , etz_crumbs outputs:
Site Name >
. I was expecting to have something like Site Name > Section > Article.

I have installed the required plugins for etz_crumbs to work: stw_category_tree 0.5 , upm_category_title 0.4.2 and upm_section_title 0.4.

Cheers, Gerhard.

Re: [ORPHAN] etz_crumbs

It will not work before rev 344 when cat titles were added to the database. Unless you svn to get a newer release you have to use txp:crumbs instead.
