Extensions tab giving me a Gateway Timeout

I recently moved my Textpattern website. I haven’t used my site in a long time. When I went to see if everything worked on the new site, the Extensions tabs gave me this error:
Gateway Timeout
The gateway did not receive a timely response from the upstream server or application.

I have tried finding the reason the error, but I am afraid I was unable to. Usually this error appears when the script takes too much time to finish its execution and indeed your CPU usage in your cPanel has spiked a little bit. For a new account, those values are not so good:

I would advise disabling plugins one-by one, but since you can’t access the page, you might research the option to disable all of them at once via database. Once disabled, start enabling them until the issue reappear. Then you will know which plugin is causing all the troubles.

I am not sure that this advice is correct. Any Suggestions?

It’s sage advice. You can still access the plugins panel and disable them all (or at least all the ones with admin-side components that appear on the Extensions menu) via the multi-edit tool, because plugins do not run on that panel.

Just visit example.org/textpattern?event=plugin to begin.

The following code isn’t part in the Textpattern .htaccess file:

RewriteCond %{HTTP_USER_AGENT} (google|yahoo|msn|aol|bing|spaumbot) [OR]
RewriteCond %{HTTP_REFERER} (google|yahoo|msn|aol|bing)
RewriteRule ^([^/]*)/$ /main.php?p=$1 [L]

Textpattern has no main.php file.

And in the other part of the .htaccess file, I think there should be new lines for each RewriteCond and RewriteRule.

If you didn’t put that file on the server, or add those lines to the .htaccess yourself, it would probably better (safe) to remove both.

Your index.php has also been modified as per diagnostics, not sure if this is relevant to your install but its not usual so that may be something to check on.
