Categories in Breadcrumbs

Hi,

This is perhaps a silly question, but I can’t figure out how this works:

I have recently added the <txp:breadcrumb /> to my site. This seems to work well and nice. However… something strange happens with categories.

I have a section called “books” and I use several categories to differentiate between different types of books. However, when clicking on an category link the breadcrumb trails does the following

My Site / Books / Bookcategories (=parent) / Architecture (=child)

The category links themselves link to mysite.com/books/?c=architecture

However, the breadcrumb-links link to mysite.com/category/bookcategories and mysite.com/category/bookcategories/architecture

Both these URLs don’t actually exist and clicking them leads to the index page being shown on mysite.com (although the above URL is shown in the browser)

Why does it do this? How can I make it stop?

Re: Categories in Breadcrumbs

Currently made a sort-of fix by just implementing if_category and making a manual breadcrumb and <else> the regular breadcrumb tag.

Still don’t know how the /category/ thing works, but this will fix my problem.
