[Solved] GDy's Economy Classic Linux Hosting install 4.5.5
I’m convinced I’m not insane. I haven’t installed for quite some time, but I got the 4.5.5 from textpattern.com just an hour ago, uploaded to a subdirectory of a current site and created a database, MySQL 5.0 with web reachable phpMyAdmin.
I got into textpattern/setup and entered the details about the database and it’s not connecting – have I made a rookie mistake? The server host address isn’t complete in the error, is that normal?

“HOST NAME” in GoDaddy, not the address for the admin goes into the TXP setup. Vastly different addresses. Awkward mistake on my part but hopefully helpful to people searching later down the line.
